GIC Empanelment: What Cashless Treatment Really Means for You
Muskaan Hospital & Maternity Centre is now a General Insurance Council (GIC) Empanelled Hospital, Empanelment No. 1000415, effective 13 November 2025. In plain terms, this means every general insurance company registered with GIC recognises us for cashless treatment — you don't need to hunt for a hospital that happens to have a private tie-up with your specific insurer.
Cashless treatment works like this: at admission, you share your policy or TPA card at our desk. Our team verifies your eligibility and sends a pre-authorization request directly to your insurer or TPA before treatment begins. If the insurer raises a query, we respond on your behalf. Once approved, you're discharged without paying the covered portion out of pocket.
This matters most in an emergency, when the last thing a family should be doing is calling around to check which hospitals accept their policy.
If you're unsure whether your specific insurer or TPA is covered, use the insurance checker further down this page, or call our desk directly.
